Biography
“My dream has always been to be a professional rider. I grew up among the bikes, with their noise and the smell of premix burning in the cilynder. The days of my childhood I’ll never forget are the Motocross and Enduro races where I’ve been as spectator with my parents. I was 7 or 8 years old. Respect to many other riders I had a different approach to my Moto career: due to my passion for sports in general, I practiced a lot of different sports in my childhood, riding a bike only in my back yard. I raced BMX, I played Ice Hockey, Tennis and Football till my 14th birthday when I received myfirst “real” bike: a Suzuki 85cc. Since that day, my goal has been one and only: racing dirtbikes and get better every time step by step. My racing debut with dirtbikes has been in a Motocross race, but I was very slow compared to all the other boys that started racing many years before. My first Enduro race was at 16 years old and I think I finished in the bottom of the field, but only 3 years later I was fighting for Junior Italian Championship. After 4 Italian Championship wins and 1 European title, in 2015 I started racing in Rally Raids, learning very quick and finishing my first Dakar in 12th position as 1st Italian rider. I’m having a continue growing process thanks to my big passion for this sport and the hard work I put in every single day to reach my goals. Now I’m 100% focused on International Rallies where I’d like to confirm me as a Top Rider for many years to come.” J.C.
